The
Classical Encounters Foundation Board
has decided to raise the premium
(keyboard view) seats to $40.00 due to
the very limited amount of seats in this
section. We receive a lot of requests
for these seats and have decided to
allot these seats on a "first come,
first serve" base. We trust that we may
count on your understanding during these
more challenging times. |

The
Classical Encounters Foundation Board
again has decided to keep the ticket
prices unchanged for another year. The
hardship that all feel and share in this
economy is reason to take a close look
at our expenses. As we strive to remain
a fiscal sound organization, we will
continually search for ways to economize
without sacrifice. Our volunteers, as
well as our donors, are always greatly
appreciated. Together with the fantastic
audiences we have enjoyed these past few
years they help us to maintain our
formidable concert programs for many
more years to come. A heartfelt "THANK
YOU" to all. |

AUGUST 2008 |

The Classical Encounters
Foundation Board has decided to
keep the ticket prices unchanged
for this year, even though food
prices have substantially
increased in the past twelve
months. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The
Classical Encounters Foundation
Board has to decide each year
what the pricing policy will be.
This is always a difficult
decision. All of us know that
classical music performance is
probably paid less than the
standard minimum wage. Our
elegant home venue, so
generously provided by Ronna and
Lou, requires (at a minimum)
funds for tuning, program
printing, communications,
transportation, etc. etc. We
haven't even mentioned food and
drinks yet. And how about set up
and clean up!?! Naturally we
strive to maintain the lowest
possible ticket price, and we
are committed to doing so, the
best way we possibly can. Our
goal is to continue a fine
cultural program for many years
to come, that balances the
pleasures for all, observing and
respecting each and every one's
pocketbook. We hope you share
the same opinion and join us for
many fantastic events to come.
Your comments are always
welcome. |

are valid only within the season
they were issued. If you have opted for
the 4-concert season ticket, we will
keep track of the concerts you have
chosen to attend. You may choose any 4

you hold a concert series subscription. |
