Young Collegiate Artist Piano

Competition

aka:   YCAPC

Finalists will compete for three top prizes:

Gold Medal      $2,500.00

Silver Medal    $1,500.00

Bronze Medal  $1,000.00

 

All Medalists will serve as Ambassadors to the Classical Encounters

Foundation. This privilege will grant them an appearance in as many

as two recitals sponsored by the Foundation for the upcoming 2010

season. These prestigious recitals are coveted by pianists from all over,

and to appear on this series is an unforgettable and enchanting afternoon

of warm music and rich food – Come, take part and seize this opportunity

to create a truly rare and intimate musical expression in the Hamburg Room,

one of Southern California’s finest in-home performance venues.

 
         
         
   
? Where The Hamburg Room, an elegant gem located high atop the hills of Tarzana,  California   {will be host for  this} years 2010 YCAPC competition.
? When Round One of the 2010 YCAPC competition will take place   
    April 21 & 22.                
    Final Round contestants of the 2010 YCAPC competition will perform for a live audience on 
    Sunday, April 25, 2010              
? Who Any pianist of any age enrolled as a Piano Major in any University/Collegiate program may apply with:
                       
? With Any Prelude and Fugue from WTC Bk 1 or 2 of JS Bach. A DVD format is preferred, a CD is acceptable.
